“My practice is focused on creative coding, photo composition and film. My work is heavily focused on shifts in perception, the symbolic nature of how we as individuals view reality and how that conditions the way we live in the world.
Some of the classical artists I’ve been especially drawn to are Man Ray, Kandinsky, Tapies, H. P. Robinson, Warhol and O’Keefe.
As for my creative process, I work in my home studio just a few kilometers outside Barcelona. I seek a balance between the rigor of creating a sketch based on a concept and the beauty that emerges from randomness and accident in the carefully placed elements on a scene once I start working with them.
I would say that I aim to create scenes as those described by Aldous Huxley: ‘Coloured geometries, animated architectures, rich with gems and fabulously lovely, landscapes with heroic figures, of symbolic dramas trembling perpetually on the verge of the ultimate revelation’.“
